Personal data is information that identifies or can identify a user. At VMB Academy, we adopt a data minimization approach and collect personal data only when necessary.

Your personal data may also be processed if you have given your consent (Art. 6 I S. 1 a of the GDPR) or if the processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not compromised (Art. 6 I S. 1 f of the GDPR).

We may use service providers to process your personal data, but we will not share this data with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

The information required to process payments may be shared with the financial institutions and payment service providers involved in the process.

To make full use of VMB Academy’s features, registration is required. The data collected during registration is processed for the specified purposes, in accordance with your consent (Art. 6 I S. 1 a of the RGPD).

You may request the deletion of your personal data if, for example, it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or if you withdraw your consent (Art. 17 RGPD).

You may request the limitation of the processing of your data if, for example, you dispute its accuracy or if you need it for legal claims (Art. 18 of the RGPD).

2.5 Right to data portability

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format and to transfer it to another data controller (Art. 20 RGPD).

2.6 Right of withdrawal

If the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time.

2.7 Right of recourse

If you believe that your rights have not been respected, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, destruction, unauthorized access or unlawful disclosure.

4. Connection via third-party service providers

To date, no connection via third-party sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Google is envisaged.

5. Push notifications

If you have enabled push notifications on your device, we may send you information directly. You can disable this feature at any time in your device settings.
